unleavened bread experiment 4

Marble cake 

Ingredients

3/4 cup sugar
4 small eggs
1/4 spoon salt
1/2 cup oil
1/4 cup Cocoa
1/4 cup hot coffee
1/4 spoon Cinnamon
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Rind of lemon 
1 extra cup of flour to harden the dough

Notes

- cake came out hard. I think to to little oil and too much heat. The bottom was burned.
- the texture and flavor inside was good. I think the oil would improve the texture next time.

 20th May 2022 Unlevened Bread Chocolate Unlevened Bread Recipe: Experiment 2  Ingredients   4 eggs 1 cup of sugar 1/2 cup of oil 1 teaspoon of vinegar 1/4 cup of cocoa powder 1  cups of atta flour 1 Cup white flour 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup boiling black coffee   Process   1. mix the eggs, then add 1 cup of sugar, mix well. 2. Add the oil, mix well till blended  3. Add the vinegar and mix well 4. Add the cocoa powder till well blended 5. add the flour gradually 6. Add 1/2 cup of boiling coffee and mix till it blends 7. add 1/2 cup of milk and blend. Add till creamy consistency is reached. 8. Pour in already oiled tin 9. Bake until done 10. remove and let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes 11. Wrap in plastic foil to retain softness   Result 1. The cake was too soft and it broke apart. Maybe put more four next time or reduce milk/ coffee ratio
